We regularly help customers communicate complicated information in a way that people will actually remember it. Below is an example of a recent course we made for a customer.

Customer case

One of our customers needed a good way to communicate the exact procedure their employees should use in case of an emergency. They knew that their organisation wouldn't remember the procedure if they just sent it out as a PDF via email.

They reached out to us for some help.

We met with the customer to discuss the project and made a work agreement

Here, we talked through their situation and what they needed specifically:

  • Do they want us to write a course or simply to help present their existing materials?
  • What should it cover?
  • What languages should it be in?
  • How much does the customer want to be involved in the process themselves?

Based on all of this, we were able to estimate the work hours needed and give them an offer.

The customer agreed to the offer, and we got to work!

The customer sent us the material

They sent us the various documents they had lying around with procedures and guidelines, and our digital learning specialist started crunching through the information and distilling which parts were relevant for the average employee.

We drafted the course and integrated feedback from the customer

We first built a rough draft of the course and shared it with the customer, who ran the draft by internal stakeholders for feedback. This was a good time to make corrections and align on what the final course would look like.

The final product

When we finished the course, we gave the customer access to it on both our learning platform and on their own.

They enrolled their employees to the course, and followed that with a test emergency situation. It went well. The employees knew what to do and mostly followed the procedure.

The customer was very happy with the course. They even identified a few things that would be helpful to add. So, we agreed to make some updates to the course for future trainings. This happens often, and we can tweak the content so it's just right.
